I love eating, I love eating great food and I love it even more when it doesn’t break the bank! Enter City Weekend and their Gourmet Month (April 1-30) which provides Beijing diners with an amazing array of choices and values all around the city.
Basically, each of the participating restaurants picks a set menu with a few courses to showcase their cuisine and offers it at an extremely good price to encourage people to come and try it. The sets start at around RMB 99 at a few places with the higher end going to about RMB250 for a 5 course meal at Salt or Mosto
There are a whole bunch of restaurants participating and some of the deals are pretty darn incredible! My personal favorites right now are Brasserie Flo, Most, Salt, Enoteca, Jaan, Ganges, The mughal & Casa Latina. All of these guys provide amazing value with these set meals and you should totally give them a shot.
I’ve already started sampling the goods with dinner at The Mughal that turned out to be amazing! Next on my list to try is Casa Latina followed by a long long overdue return to Brasserie Flo.
