Well, still awards season here in Beijing and I couldn’t be happier!! My good friends from The Redbucks have taken Band of the Year in Beijing at the 2010 City Weekend Awards!
As Jamie Welton said in his interview a few days ago: [...]I am really digging the Redbucks when I see them around….it’s nice to hear some real bluegrass around here and they are the only ice cream shop in Beijing with that flavor!

Pet Conspiracy won editor’s pick and second place which is also a great choice in my book. Helen and her gang usually put on great shows and they’re one of the finest acts in Beijing.
Now, folks, if we could just get both bands on the same bill, with my two uber-crushes, it would be heavenly…. that said, it might require special anti-flooding measures to deal with the excessive drooling that might occur.
